Position Overview

As a Senior GTM & Analytics Implementation Specialist, you'll be crucial in helping direct response marketers scale their businesses through sophisticated tracking and analytics solutions. This role focuses on implementing and maintaining advanced tracking systems for high-volume sales funnels, multi-step customer journeys, and complex product offerings. You'll work directly with successful DR marketers who understand marketing but need expert technical implementation to scale their operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable GTM architectures for high-volume direct response funnels
  • Develop comprehensive tracking solutions for multi-step sales processes and upsell flows
  • Create robust tracking implementations for subscription-based products and recurring billing
  • Configure advanced e-commerce tracking for both digital and physical product sales
  • Implement cross-domain tracking solutions for complex marketing funnels
  • Build reliable tracking systems for high-traffic landing pages and offer pages
  • Develop custom solutions for tracking phone calls, form submissions, and offline conversions
  • Create automated reporting systems for marketing campaign performance
  • Configure advanced split testing and conversion tracking
  • Implement tracking for email marketing and customer journey analytics
  • Ensure accurate attribution across multiple traffic sources and platforms
  • Build custom integrations between CRM systems and marketing platforms
  • Develop solutions for tracking customer lifetime value and retention metrics
  • Create documentation and SOPs for tracking implementations
  • Configure consent management and privacy compliance for direct marketing
  • Implement conversion tracking across multiple ad platforms
  • Develop custom event tracking for video engagement and content consumption
  • Create automated alerts for tracking issues and data discrepancies
  • Build custom dashboards for real-time campaign monitoring
  • Ensure tracking accuracy for high-value transactions and subscriptions

  • Develop custom solutions for offline conversion tracking and CRM integration
  • Ensure tracking consistency across multiple properties and platforms
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex tracking issues across various platforms
  • Implement data validation rules and quality assurance processes
  • Create and maintain measurement strategy documentation
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to translate business requirements into technical implementations

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics implementation for direct response marketing
  • Strong understanding of direct response marketing principles and sales funnels
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • Google Tag Manager (client and server-side)
    • Google Analytics 4
    • JavaScript for tracking implementations
    • CRM and email marketing platform integrations
    • Split testing and conversion optimization tools
  • Experience with high-traffic, high-conversion environments
  • Understanding of subscription-based business models
  • Knowledge of privacy compliance for direct marketing
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to translate marketing requirements into technical solutions
