Position Overview
As a Business Intelligence & Data Engineering Consultant, you'll architect and implement scalable data solutions for direct response marketers generating $3M+ in revenue. This role focuses on transforming complex marketing and sales data into actionable insights through automated dashboards and reporting systems. You'll work with established DR marketers who need expert-level data solutions to make informed scaling decisions and optimize their customer acquisition and retention strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated marketing dashboards tracking key performance metrics
- Create scalable data pipelines connecting multiple marketing and sales platforms
- Develop custom reporting solutions for complex sales funnels and customer journeys
- Build automated systems for tracking customer lifetime value and cohort analysis
- Implement real-time monitoring solutions for critical business metrics
- Create predictive models for customer behavior and revenue forecasting
- Design attribution models for multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Develop automated alerts for key performance indicators
- Build custom integrations between advertising platforms and internal databases
- Create automated reporting for subscription metrics and retention analysis
- Implement data quality monitoring and validation systems
- Design scalable database architectures for marketing and sales data
- Develop ETL processes for marketing and customer data
- Create automated reporting for inventory and fulfillment metrics
- Build customer segmentation and RFM analysis systems
- Implement automated cost analysis and ROAS reporting
- Design systems for tracking and analyzing A/B test results
- Create documentation for data models and reporting systems
- Develop custom APIs for data access and integration
- Build automated compliance and audit reporting systems
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence
- Strong proficiency in:
- SQL and database design
- Python or similar programming languages
- ETL/ELT processes
- Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- API integration and development
- Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience with marketing and sales data analysis
- Understanding of direct response marketing metrics
- Knowledge of data modeling and warehouse design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
